On Wednesday, March 26th, 2014, representatives from the Florida Power & Light (FPL), the utility giant in Florida, visited the Energy Power & Sustainability Laboratory to view different experiments conducted in the lab. The students of the lab presented to them the different areas of research they are working on. The presentations varied from meter testing, smart EHShoes, wireless charging to research initiatives on Superconductors, Smart Grid Security, Fault Current Limiters, Renewable Energy, Weather and Reliability Issues and also Electric charging of Vehicles.
